PRESS RELEASE // DREAMING THE IMPOSSIBLE

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

YOUTH EVENT TO WELCOME HUNDREDS THIS SUMMER

Dreaming the Impossible youth festival has announced a plan to gather this summer, with two large events happening in the Midlands.

Dreaming the Impossible (DTI) has been welcoming young people since 1999 and this summer are running two events, back-to-back, at the Trent Vineyard church facility in Nottingham, this summer.

DTI A will run from 30th July to 2nd August and DTI B will run from 2nd August to 5th August.

Trent Vineyard hosts a large campus, with three sizeable buildings situated on it. It was originally designed to welcome hundreds of people to a single service, with dedicated buildings for children and youth, but, this August Trent Vineyard will play host to Dreaming the Impossible. Whilst nearby halls of residence will be used to accommodate hundreds of teenagers and youth leaders.

Susie Aldridge, leader of DTI, said:

The pandemic has been especially hard for young people, many of them are struggling and there is a real need and hunger for them to meet with Jesus, their peers and their youth groups, and so we are excited that we’re gathering not once, but twice this summer!

In our main meetings, we'll be worshipping Jesus, hearing some great teaching from the bible and spending loads of time learning how to pray together and hanging out in God’s presence.

Outside of these, there’s loads of time for the young people to hang out with their friends and make some new ones.  There’s seminars, cafes, sports, and other fun activities like the dodgems!

We've upgraded the accommodation, so wave goodbye to leaking tents and portaloos. This year we're staying in Uni halls of residence, with real showers, beds and a cooked breakfast every morning!

We are so excited to be able to gather physically with youth from all over the UK church and are expectant for everything that God's going to do.  We would love to invite any youth group to come and join us!

Last year we took Dreaming the Impossible fully online under the name ‘Streaming the Impossible’, and this year we are delighted to welcome youth groups, in person, from all over the UK to Nottingham for Dreaming the Impossible 2021.

Speakers this summer include Mike Pilavachi, Thando Zulu, Laura Hancock, Eleanor Mumford & Debby Wright
